How to set up the ShadowSocks on macOS

Step 1. Download and install the client application for macOS.

Step 2. Run Shadowsocks.

You will be able to run Shadowsocks by clicking on the following icon in the app:

After you run it, please double click on the notification bar icon (Or right click/edit servers if you already have set up. The icon will be black on the notification area).

Step 3. Configure the client.

Configure the client to connect to the server with the following settings.

• Click on [ Add ]
• "server":"ss.weiwei.in"
• "server_port":ss.weiwei.in
• "local_port":ss.weiwei.in
• "password": You can get free account here.
• "timeout":5
• "method":"chacha20-ietf-poly1305"

Step 4. 「Turn Shadowsocks On」by the notification icon (Right click).

Step 5. Set to 「Global Mode」.

Your setup is ready now. Enjoy using Shadowsocks on macOS.
